Devan J. Bowen, 34, Peoria, died at 7:23 am Thursday, June 1, 2023 at his residence, Peoria.

Devan was born February 23, 1989 in Normal, IL the son of Brian and Melissa McAlerney Bowen.

Survivors include his mother, Melissa (Steve) Cooper, Chenoa; father, Brian Bowen, Peoria; two sons, Braiden and Allik Bowen; sister, Haley Bowen, Bloomington; paternal grandmother, Brigitte Hoffman, Bloomington; and paternal grandfather, Larry Bowen, Vandalia.

Devan attended Prairie Central High School and later worked at O'Brien Certified Heating, Peoria.  He loved spending time with his kids and fishing.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.  Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in-charge of arrangements.  Memorials may be directed to the family.
