Donald R. Morris, 86 of Chenoa; passed away at 7:52 am, Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at his residence in Chenoa.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a visitation will be Monday, August 26, 2019 from 4:30 to 7 pm, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. A private family inurnment will take place in Chenoa Township Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to OSF Hospice, 211 Landmark Drive, Normal, IL  61761.

Donald was born December 25, 1932 in Normal; the son of Ray and Esther (Boyd) Morris. He married Lois Wendling on July 13, 1953, in Chenoa. His wife, Lois survives in Chenoa.

Other survivors include four sons, Michael (Fae) Morris of LeRoy; Timothy (Arlene) Morris of Normal; Ted (Sandy) Morris of Clinton; Marc (Phaedra) Morris of Gridley; eleven grandchildren, Miles (Randi) Morris, Brittani (Mike) Morris, Ethan (Megan) Morris, Mariah Morris, Samantha Morris, Maggie Morris, Jackie (Matthew) Mardis, Jacob (Alexis) Morris, Chloe Morris, Bart Morris, Wyatt Morris, and four great grandchildren, Mikey, Addison, Haisley and Eveleigh Morris.

His parents, two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.

Don was a 1951 graduate of Chenoa Twp. High School and later served our country in the US Army during the Korean Conflict from 1953 - 1955.  He enjoyed golfing with friends and family and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
