Obituary
Donald D. Payton, 57, of Chenoa, passed away at 7:25 am, Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be a gathering of family and friends at his residence in Chenoa on Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 2 to 5 pm.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa has charge of the arrangements.
Don was born December 18, 1953 in Normal the son of Boyd V. and Mary Ellen (Lindsay) Payton. His father and one brother, Andrew Payton preceded him in death.
Survivors include his mother, Mary Ellen Payton, Chenoa; one son, Gregory Payton, Colfax; two sisters, Audrey (Richard) Tracy, Salem; Barbara Bracken, Galesburg; and two brothers, Boyd (Melba) Payton and Larry (Ann) Payton, both of Chenoa.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family of Donald D. Payton.
He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
