Donna Lou Gadberry, 75, of Fairbury, passed away at 5:59 am, Friday, March 8, 2013 at Fairview Haven Retirement Community, Fairbury.

Her funeral service will be held at 10 am, Monday, March 11, 2013 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury with the Pastor Tom Krieger officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Fairbury.

Visitation will be 2 to 5:00 pm, Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury.

Donna was born December 3, 1937 in Fairbury, the daughter of Christian Edward and Amelia (Metz) Zimmerman. Her parents, two brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Douglas Moore and Michael (Eren) Moore both of Bloomington; one brother, Maurice (Joy) Zimmerman of Fairbury; three sisters, Mary Ellen Nylander, Arlene Walter both of Fairbury; Alene (Bob) Perkins of Normal, six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Donna was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury. She enjoyed gardening and working in her yard but above all she loved spending time with her family and friends. Her grandchildren were on the top of her list and she cherished the time she had with them. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
