Donna M. Sledge, 80, of Chenoa and formerly of Strawn, died at 12:55 AM on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at her daughter's residence in Chenoa.

Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, in Fairbury with Pastor Deb Honegger officiating. Burial will be in Strawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12 – 2 PM, Saturday also at the memorial home.

Donna was born September 24, 1942 in Fairbury, IL the daughter of William and Mary Kemmer Benway. She married William Irvin Sledge on September 25, 1965 in Odell, IL. He preceded her in death on April 9, 2005.

Survivors include: her daughters Dawn (Bill) Pulliam of Chenoa, IL; Amy Sledge of Chenoa, IL; and her grandchildren Courtney (Nic) Stephens, and Garrett Pulliam.

Donna worked at Forrest-Strawn-Wing and Prairie Central school districts for 44 years, retiring as head cook.
