Obituary
Bloomington – Dorothy L. Daniels, 79, of Bloomington, formerly of Colfax passed away at 1:41 AM September 7, 2009, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Visitation will be held from 4-7:00pm on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax.
Funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 also at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Dorothy was born April 1, 1930 in Beaver Dam, KY the daughter of Garman and Eva Patton Kessinger. They preceded her in death. She married Wayne Daniels on October 6, 1947 in Colfax. He died February 8, 1975.
Surviving are two sons, Bob (Nancy) Daniels of Normal and Phillip (Linda) Daniels of Fairbury; three grandchildren, Cathy Dow of Heyworth and Kip (Tara) Daniels of Yorkville, Kyle (Jenna) Daniels of Forrest; three step-grandchildren, Brian (Jenni) Blair of Bloomington, Robert Garrett of Normal and Ginger (Brian) Brazil of Farmersville, TX; great grandchildren, Dallas, Isabella, and Gabriella Dow, Tyke Daniels, Ryan and Samantha Blair; two sisters, Carrie Kemp of Bloomington and Eyvoughn Reinitz of Normal; two brothers, Jim (Mary Jane)Kessinger of Chatsworth and Wendell (Judy)Kessinger of Bloomington; brother-in-law, Ted Williams of Hudson
She was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
Dorothy was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church and was past president of VFW Auxiliary of Colfax.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Faith in Action.
