Obituary
Dorothy Ella Smith, 85 of Pontiac Formerly of Brainerd, MN; passed away at 11:42 am, Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at Woodridge Supportive Living Residence, Pontiac.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family Inurnment will take place at Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery of Camp Ripley, MN. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is assisting the family with arrangements.
Dorothy was born September 17, 1927 in Los Angeles, CA; the daughter of Victor and Ella Stevens. She married Harlan "Chub" Pollmann and later married Stanley Smith on June 12, 1980 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He passed away on January 14, 2001.
Survivors include one son; Joseph (Joni) Pollmann of Fairbury; two step-sons, Jack Smith of Birchwood, MN; Jeremy Smith of Rochester, MN; three step-daughters, Patricia (Mark) Curry of Rochester, MN; Beverly Lundberg of Baxter, MN; Nancy (David) Riggall of Sedona, AZ; five grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 8 step-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and one sister.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to AIM at Melanoma.
