Dorothy Ruth Rosenberger, 90, Chenoa, died at 11:30 am Thursday, November 30, 2017 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 am Monday, December 4, 2017 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Josh Clemons officiating.  Burial will be in Chenoa Twp. Cemetery.

Visitation will be 3:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday and 9:00 to 9:45 am Monday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.  The family suggests memorials be given to South Eastern Livingston County Ambulance Service, Fairbury or Community Cancer Center, Normal.

Mrs. Rosenberger was born August 26, 1927 in Gary, IN the daughter of Earl and Lillian Farley Hanes.  She married Clement "Bud" Rosenberger on July 12, 1947 in Chenoa.  He survives in Chenoa.

Other survivors include a son, Clayton (Sue) Rosenberger, Chenoa; 5 grandchildren, Ashley (Bryan) Youngsma, Michelle (Josh) Clemons, Clifton (Emily) Rosenberger, Alison (Donny) Skelton, Sheryl (Jay) Solomonson and 8 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by a daughter, Sharon Walter; a granddaughter, Natalie Walter and a great grandson, Colton Skelton.

Mrs. Rosenberger was a member of the United Methodist Church, Chenoa.  She had been employed at the Weston Grain Elevator and served as a Yates Twp. Election judge for many years.  She was a member of the Royal Neighbors and the Merry Makers Club.
