Fairbury – Dorothy M. Roth, 84, of Fairbury passed away at 8:54 am, Monday, April 26, 2021 at Carle-Bromenn Medical Center, Normal.

Her graveside service will be 11:30 am, Friday, April 30, 2021 at Gridley Cemetery, Gridley.  Visitation will be 10 -11am prior to her service at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to American Cancer Society or Dominy Memorial Library, Fairbury.

Dorothy was born June 11, 1936 in Gridley, the daughter of Elza and Lorraine (Dodson) Cooper.  She married Marvin W. Roth on July 3, 1954 in Fairbury.  Her husband Marvin preceded her in death September 11, 2017. Her parents, one brother, James Cooper; one sister, Ruth Doran and one daughter, Pamela Aberle also preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children, Terry (Sandy) Roth of Bremen, IN; David (Lisa) Roth of Metamora; Susan Cottrell of Bloomington; Scott Roth of Fairbury; son in-law, Duane Aberle of Fairbury; one sister, Carol (Dennis) Molton of Camdenton, MO; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Dorothy worked in the OB department at Fairbury Hospital for over 28 years.  She loved her family and was so proud of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
