Obituary
Fairbury: Dorothy Mae Wells, 85, Fairbury died at 8:00 am Sunday, October 7, 2007 at Heritage Manor, Colfax.
Her visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
A family funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 10, 2007 also at the memorial home in Fairbury. Burial will take place in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Wing, IL.
Dorothy was born November 6, 1921 in Piper City, IL a daughter to Ollie and Leatha (Lightly) Collins. She married Howard Wells on March 3, 1937 in Pontiac, IL. He preceded her in death on January 26, 1994.
Surviving are two daughters; Virginia (Ray) Greenwell, Fairbury, Patty (Don) Litchfield, Chenoa, one son; Richard (Terri) Wells, Fairbury, one brother; Richard (Selene) Collins, FL, one half sister, Melvina Feltner, MI, one step-brother; Ernie Serene, MI, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter; Juanita Dellinger, two sisters, two step-brothers and one ½ brother.
The family suggests that memorials be directed to Heritage Manor, Colfax or American Diabetes Association.
