Earl D. Blair 83, of Dwight, died March 4, 2007 at 8:50AM at St. Mary's Hospital in Streator.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 from 9-10:45AM at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. With Masonic Rites accorded at 10:45AM by the Masonic Lodge, Pontiac. Funeral will be held also on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chenoa Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Congregational Church, Dwight or donor's choice of charity.
Mr. Blair was born August 28, 1923 in Chenoa a son of Chester and Edna Epply Blair. They precede him in death. He first married Lucille Shiflett. She died January 27, 1977. The later married Virginia Shaw Delkus on July 14, 1979 in Morris. She survives. Also surviving are his children; Karen (Charles) Jensen of Crawfordsville, IN, Gregg (Donna) Blair of Pontiac, Lori (William) Green of Big Piney, WO, Cathy (Michael) Franca of Arvada, CO, Nancy (John) Hageman of Pontiac, Vicky Phillips of Wheatridge, CO, and Christine (Larry) Hansen of Dwight.; 13 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Earl was a farmer in the Livingston County area for many years and also was an insurance broker. He was
a Lifetime member of the Pontiac Masonic Lodge and a member of First Congregational Church in Dwight.
