Obituary
Edward L. Butler, 92, a resident of Meadows Mennonite Home, Chenoa and formerly of Fairbury died at 10:50 p.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2008 at Meadows Mennonite Home.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2008 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with the Rev. Charles McDonald officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. Monday at the memorial home.
Mr. Butler was born April 9, 1915 in Lawndale Twp., McLean County, IL the son of Virgil and Gertrude Page Butler. He married Jesse Sorey who precedes him in death.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Butler is preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.
The family suggests memorials be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
