Edward James "Ed" Looney, 67 originally from Chenoa, passed away peacefully at his home in Oro Medonte, Ontario, Canada on Sunday March 20th, 2016.

Cremation rites have been accorded and friends may visit with the family from 4 to 8 pm, Friday, June 24, 2016 at the Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.

He was the beloved husband of Patricia Looney (nee Plue) for 41 years, and loving father of Jennifer Shelswell (Tim), Janice Desroches (Dan), and Lyndsey Pritchard (Hiro) as well as the proud Grandfather of Rachel, Ruby, Evan, Dylan, and Emi.
His parents, James J. and Mary Katherine Jontry Looney preceded him in death.

He was the dear brother of Jennifer (John) Johnson of Chenoa; Charlie (Rhonda) Looney of Cairo, GA; brother-in-law of Cheryl (Rocky), Bob (Catherine), and Barb (Steve). Ed will be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews and many friends. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Hospice Simcoe, Ontario, Canada.
