Colfax – Elaine Sandage, 82, of Colfax, passed away at 8:48pm; October 24, 2012, at Asta Care Center of Colfax.

Her funeral will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Pastor Greg Summers will be officiating.
Burial will be in Payne Cemetery, Arrowsmith.

Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.

Elaine was born October 26, 1929 in Colfax, the daughter of Russell and Lucille Jones Bundy.

She married Robert Sandage on June 30, 1949 in Colfax. He died September 7, 2009.

Surviving are her children; Janet (Robert) Harris of Sycamore, Steve (Paula) Sandage, and Dave (Donna) Sandage both of Arrowsmith; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Lamone (Julius) Miller of Springfield and Carol (Jim) Steenbergen of Pueblo, CO.

Elaine was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
Elaine was a lifelong farmer alongside her husband in the Arrowsmith area.

She was a member of the McLean County farm Bureau.

Elaine loved gardening and canning her produce.

She will be greatly missed by her family, especially her amazing cooking!
