Eldon F. Kaeb, 52, Arrowsmith, died at 10:31 pm Sunday, October 7, 2012 in Yates Twp., McLean County, IL due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Friday, October 12, 2012 at the Apostolic Christian Church, Forrest with ministers of the church officiating. Burial will be in the North Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Forrest.
Visitation will be 1:00 to 8:00 pm Thursday, October 11, 2012 at the Apostolic Christian Church Fellowship Hall, 21225 East 670 North Rd, Fairbury and 9:00 to 9:45 am Friday at the church. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is assisting the family with arrangements. The family suggests memorials be directed to the Kaeb Kids memorial fund,c/o Fairbury-Cropsey Community Bank, Division of the Morton Bank.
Mr. Kaeb was born October 13, 1959 in Watseka, IL the son of John J. and Adeline L. Edelman Kaeb. He married Stephanie J. Mueller on August 16, 1987 in Saybrook, IL.
Surviving are their nine children, Krystle (Reuben) Leman, Strawn; Joshua Kaeb, Arrowsmith; Kaylee (Justin) Kilgus, Fairbury; Kara, Jenna, Joseph, Levi, Lucas and Loren Kaeb, all at home in Arrowsmith, his mother, Adeline Kaeb, Fairbury, six sisters, Jean (Harlan) Knapp, Chenoa; Marlene (Loren) Dettwyler, Silverton, OR; Susie (Alvin) Knapp, Becky (Lynn) Schaffer, both of Fairbury; Lori (Jeff) Morrison, Hudson; Julie (Tim) Ifft, Piper City; five brothers, Steven (Bonnie) Kaeb, Paxton; Morris Kaeb, Fairbury; Merlin (Ida Lou) Kaeb, William (Juanita) Kaeb, both of Arrowsmith; Gary (Paula) Kaeb, Stayton, OR, one brother-in-law, Russ Leman, Roanoke.
He is preceded in death by his father and a sister, Joan Leman.
Mr. Kaeb was a 1977 graduate of Saybrook-Arrowsmith High School. He was a lifetime farmer and a member of the Apostolic Christian Church, Forrest.
