Elizabeth "Betty" Jean Rathbun , 97 died at 11:30 pm, Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Morning Glory Assisted Living in Tucson, Arizona. She moved from Alameda, California to Tucson in 2015 to be in the care of her nephew Terry and Phyllis Rathbun.

Cremation rites have been accorded. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorial contributions be directed to the South Eastern Livingston County Ambulance Service (SELCAS), Fairbury.

Betty was born February17,1923 in Fairbury; the daughter of Herbert and Mary (Kelso) Rathbun. She was preceded in death by her parents and her two brothers, Nowlan and Bryce Rathbun.

She is survived by two nephews John (Sandy) Rathbun of Peoria; and Terry (Phyllis) Rathbun of Tucson Az.

Betty was a graduate of Fairbury-Cropsey High School and worked for the United States Civil Service Commission in Alameda, California for 38 years.
