Obituary
Chenoa - Eloise M. Bowen, 89 of Bloomington formerly of Chenoa passed away peacefully May 25, 2012 at Westminster Village Martin Health Center in Bloomington, Illinois.
A private graveside service will be held at the Chenoa Cemetery.
Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.
Born Eloise M. McCarty on June 11, 1922 in Chenoa Illinois, daughter of Ambrose and Elva (Hoffman) McCarty. They preceded her in death.
She was a graduate of Chenoa High School and the University of Illinois with a degree in home economics.
She was married to the late Robert B. Bowen D.D.S. and resided in Bloomington since 1946.
She was part owner in Gatesway Interiors and enjoyed spending her winters in Florida.
She had one sister, the late Marilyn Powell (Joe), two sons, Jeff (Jill) of Santa Fe, NM and Tom (Arlene) of Orlando, FL, one nephew Greg Powell (Clare) of Creve Coeur, MO, one niece, the late Gretchen Powell Jacobs (Jerry), two grandnieces, two grand nephews, three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
