Obituary
Fairbury – Erma M. Bunting, 88, of Fairbury, passed away at 5:15am, October 12, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury. Pastor Tom Krieger will be officiating.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be held from 4-6:00pm, Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury.
Erma was born March 8, 1926 in Sibley the daughter of William and Katherine Brucker Wallenstein. They preceded her in death.
She married Albert Bunting, Jr on May 4, 1947 in Fairbury. He died October 27, 1981.
Surviving are her daughter Kathleen J. Bunting of Normal; sister, Lois Rentschler of Grand Rapids, MI.
Erma was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury where she was a member of the Women of the ELCA. She was an active member in the Fairbury American Legion Auxiliary and as an avid quilter she was a member of Hands All Around Quilt Guild.
