COLFAX: Esther M. Gilmore, 90 of Heritage Manor, Colfax died at 12:01 am, Tuesday, October 30, 2007, at Heritage Manor, Colfax.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 pm, Thursday, November 1, 2007 at the Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Her funeral service will be 10 am Friday, November 2, 2007 at the Colfax United Methodist Church with Pastor Diane Yentes and Pastor Ray Owens officiating the service. Burial will take place in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.

Esther was born August 9, 1917 in Normal, IL, a daughter to Henry J. and Bessie (Clark) McKeehan. She married Wilbur G. Gilmore March 22, 1942 in Colfax. He preceded her in death on October 23, 2002.

Surviving are three sons; Dave (Donna) Gilmore, Colfax, Darwyn (Melanie) Gilmore, Cicero, IN, Dennis (Becky) Gilmore, Bloomington, one sister; Sylvia Treash, Richmond, VA, six grandchildren; Amy (B.J.) Wesson, Colfax, Kimberly (Ryan) Curry, Lincoln, Aaron (Chanda) Gilmore, Arcadia, IN, Molly Gilmore, Nick Gilmore both of Cicero, IN, Kellie Gilmore, LeRoy, five great grandchildren; Collin and Addison Gilmore, Mackenzie Wesson, Grace and Brooklyn Curry.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister, one daughter Charlotte Kay and one grandson, Chad David Gilmore.

Mrs. Gilmore was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church where she served as president of the U.M.W. She was also a member of the Colfax American Legion Auxiliary. She will forever be remembered for her service to her church, as a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

The family suggests that memorials be made to United Methodist Church of Colfax, Alzheimer's Association or S.I.D.S.
