Obituary
Esther M. Winterland, 83 of Fairbury, passed away at 5:38 am, Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Gibson City.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Forrest, IL with Pastor Connie Blissard officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm, Monday, January 3, 2011 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Esther was born February 3, 1927 in Anchor, IL the daughter of William and Lena (Kalmbrunn) Warsaw. She married Delmar Donaldson and later married Walter Winterland on June 14, 1970 in Bloomington. He survives in Fairbury.
Other survivors include one son; David (Eileen) Donaldson, Hanover Park, IL; one sister, Marjorie (Bill) Schurr, Bloomington, IL and two grandchildren, Nicole and Jessica Donaldson, Hanover Park, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and two sisters.
The family suggests that memorials be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Forrest or the charity of the donor's choice.
Esther was a 1944 graduate of Anchor H.S. and retired from State Farm Insurance Co. in 1973. She attended the Ruth Bible Study Circle and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Forrest, and the Forrest American Legion Auxiliary.
