Obituary
Colfax – Eunice Hufford, 85, of Lexington, NE formerly of Colfax, passed away at 1:15am on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington, NE.
Funeral will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Colfax. Pastor Greg Summers will be officiating.
Burial will be in Wiley Cemetery, Colfax.
Visitation will be held from 4:30-6:30, Friday, January 18, 2013 also at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Colfax Christian Church.
Eunice was born August 14, 1927 in Morton the daughter of Henry and Kathryn Waldbeeser Stieglitz.
She married Millard "Wiener" Hufford in 1947. He died in 1993.
Surviving are four daughters; Sandra Lee (James) Meyer of West Chester, PA, Lynn Marie (Leo) McGowan of Washington, Teresa Ann (Mike Flury) Hufford of Lexington, NE and Susan Kay (Michael) Murray of Bloomington; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; sisters; Verla Leman of Roanoke and Ella Marie Bartlemay of Morton; brother; Glenn (Wilma) Stieglitz of Morton; and brother-in-law; Lem (Helen Jean) Kaisner of Tremont.
Eunice was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
She was a member of Colfax Christian Church. Eunice worked at Ben Franklin and owned and operated Wiener's Restaurant with her husband in Colfax.
