Obituary
Fairbury: Evelyn Josephine Barnes Paul, 89, a resident at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal and formerly of Fairbury, died 11:10pm Friday, June 30, 2006 at the nursing home.
Graveside services will be 2:00pm Monday, July 3, 2006 at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax with the Rev. Charles McDonald officiating. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Paul was born March 10, 1917 at Colfax, IL the daughter of John Elliott and Anna May Ray Barnes. She married Louis Wilson Paul May 7, 1936 in Peoria, IL. He died March 11, 1965.
Surviving are 1 son, Floyd (June) Paul, Normal and 1 daughter, Marjorie (David) Mosier, Fairbury.
Also surviving are 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her son Joseph Paul, 7 brothers, 4 sisters and 2 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Paul retired from Eureka Company, Bloomington in 1980 and was a member of the Machinist Union Lodge #1000.
The family suggest memorials be directed to the McLean County Nursing Home, 911 N. Main St, Normal, IL 61761 or the Livingston County Humane Society, 21179 N. 1358 East Rd, Pontiac, IL 61764.
