Obituary
Fairbury – Florence E. Dameron, 86, of Fairbury passed away at 11:45 am October 4, 2011 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. The family requests casual attire. Pastor Steven Livengood will be officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Brian J. Munz Safety Complex, Fairbury.

Florence was born May 29, 1925 the daughter of Benjamin and Lydia Huette Sutter.
She married Dale Dameron on September 8, 1945 in Pontiac. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Lynn (Judy) Dameron, Peggy (Dan) Vaughan, Carolyn (Wayne) Gerber, and Barry Dameron all of Fairbury; grandchildren, Heather (Jeff) Schweizer, Chris (Venessa) Dameron, Greg (Jami) Vaughan, Amy (Mike) Klemmensen, Beth (Mark) Robert, Kelsey Gerber and Ashley(Daniel) Mueller, Joel Gerber, Macki and Delayni Dameron; great-grandchildren, Sam and Aaron Herr, Sibelle Schweizer, Dan and Eric Schweizer, AJ and Olivia Dameron, Grant Dameron Vaughan, Bailey, Madelyn and Bodey Klemmensen, Drake, Drew and Danielle Robert; sister-in-law, Marjorie Maley; several nieces and nephews; and best friends Elenor Ricketts and Juanita Cole.
Florence was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother, Tillie Sutter; half sister, Edna Lehman and brother-in-law, Charles Maley.
Florence was a nurse's aide and ER tech at Fairbury Hospital and worked alongside her husband in their business, Dameron Plumbing and Heating.
She was a member of the Fairbury United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was also a member of Fairbury Junior Women's Club and Royal Neighbors.
Florence was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
She has touched many lives with her tender heart, her kindness and her generosity. She enjoyed any occasion that brought her together with her family and friends.
Her children will most certainly miss the nightly calls to make sure they made it home safe!
