Obituary
Florence A. Reiners, 100 of Pontiac formerly of Chenoa passed away at 3:10 pm, Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Evenglow Lodge, Pontiac.
Funeral services will be 11 am, Friday, September 10, 2010 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Chenoa with Pastor Edward Hudelson officiating. Burial will take place in Chenoa Cemetery, Chenoa.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services also at the church on Friday. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa is in charge of arrangements.
Florence was born March 17, 1910 in rural Chenoa the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Smith) Myer. She married Wilbur N. Reiners on December 27, 1928 in Chenoa. He passed away on July 21, 1995.
Survivors include one son; Eldon (Rosemary) Reiners, Bucyrus, MO, one daughter; Beverly (Charles) Neubauer, Morton, six grandchildren; Jim (Margie) Reiners, Tim (Judy) Reiners, Gary (Kandy) Reiners, Kimberley (Luie) Armstrong, Craig (Sandy) Neubauer, Steve (Beth) Neubauer, seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, one sister and two brothers.
The family suggests that memorials be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church, Chenoa.
Florence was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Chenoa and a member of the Esmeralda Club in Pike Twp. She enjoyed many crafts and hobbies as well as tending to her flowers. The Reiners' spent many winters in Mesa, AZ enjoying their retirement. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
