Frances June Brown, 82, Fairbury, died at 3:48 am Saturday, October 20, 2018 at her residence, Fairbury.

A celebration of  her life will be 11:00 am until 4:00 pm Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Fairbury VFW, 205 East Locust St, Fairbury, IL 61739.  Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is assisting with arrangements.

Frances was born June 19, 1936 in Michigan City, IN the daughter of Leslie and Catherine Marciniak Hines.  She married William Brent Brown on August 28, 1954 in Fairbury.  He preceded her in death on March 31, 2018.

Surviving are three daughters, Brenda Varvel, Zephyrhills, FL, Bonnie Maurer, Fairbury, Kristi (Steve) Sloan, Plano, five grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great great grandson and one sister, Helen Hodges, Fairbury.

She is preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Dohman, one grandson, Michael Carey, two brothers, Walter John and Michael "Babe" Hines.

Frances retired from Fairbury Hospital as a certified nurses assistant and was a member of the First Baptist Church, Fairbury.

The family suggests memorials be given to the South Eastern Livingston County Ambulance Service.
