Obituary
Frances M. Orange, 76, of Colfax formerly of Pulaski, VA passed away September 26, 2010, at 4:37 am at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at Wiley Cemetery, Colfax, Illinois. Pastor Larry Sharp will be officiating.
Frances was born January 29, 1934, in Pulaski, VA the daughter of Jesse and Ruth Marrie Shoemaker Surratt Mooney. They preceded her in death.
She first married William Ratcliffe and then married David Orange. They also preceded her in death.
Surviving are her children, Michael (Mona) Ratcliffe of Pulaski, VA, Rod Ratcliffe of Normal, Daughter-In-Law, Nadene Ratcliffe of Cooksville, and Rosemary (Steve) Mooney Strickler of Dayton, TN; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one sister Barbara Duckett of AR.
One son Frank Ratcliffe and one daughter Cathy Hall preceded her in death.
Frances loved to read. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her.
