Frances "Fran" Rae Witte, 85, Wing, died at 3:55 am Sunday, January 31, 2016 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Pastor Steve Anderson officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Ridge Twp Cemetery, Wing.

Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. The family suggests memorials be given to the Prairie Central Athletic Boosters.

Fran was born July 6, 1930 in Flanagan, IL the daughter of Charles and Leta Cumrine Ingold. She married R.D. Willhoite on July 6, 1950. She then married Tony Witte on March 11, 1983 in Flanagan. He survives in Wing.

Other survivors include 3 daughters, Bonnie (Bill) Bolen, Odell, Ruby (Ron) Ronimous, Excelsior, MO, Freda (Toby Dalton) Bradbury, Foosland, 1 son, DeWayne (Vickie) Willhoite, Bloomington, 14 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by 1 brother, 1 ½ brother, 1 ½ sister and 1 son.

Fran was a 1948 graduate of Flanagan High School. She was a homemaker and had worked as a waitress for many years. She enjoyed showing flowers at the Fairbury Fair and going to the Fairbury American Legion Speedway. She was inducted into the IHSA basketball fan hall of fame and was nominated and awarded the Prairie Central Hawk fan of the year.
