Obituary
Piper City – Gerald J. Tull, 67, of Piper City, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 11:55am at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at 7:00pm on Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Military Honors will be performed by the Fairbury VFW Post #9789.
Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Jerry was born October 19, 1942 in Fairbury the son of Sylvester Earl and Nellie Elizabeth Pillsbury Tull.
He married Linda Tuoto on December 30, 1984 in Lincoln, RI. She survives.
Also surviving are two brothers, Roger Tull of Harrisburg and Patrick Tull of Omaha, NE.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Jerry served four years in the United States Marines.
He was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Normal.
He last owned and operated Tull Freight. He previously worked for 10 years in sales for Home Health Education Services and drove a bus for Trailways.
