Gilbert Edward Brown, Jr., 64, Fairbury, died at 5:40 am, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his residence.

Cremation rites have been accorded and services will be held at a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury, is assisting with arrangements.

Gilbert was born June 25, 1954 in Louisville, KY, a son to Gilbert Edward Sr., and Rosella Wolf Brown. His parents preceded him in death. He married Kimberly Enghausen on July 21, 1986 in Pontiac, IL. She survives in Fairbury.

Also surviving are his six children, William Brown, Frankie Underwood, Rose Brown, Eric Brown, Michael Brown and Cory Brown; four grandchildren; one sister, Brenda Hope; three step-brothers, Mark (Connie) Triplett, Robert (Blanca) Triplett, and Lou Triplett; and several nieces and nephews.
