Obituary
Fairbury – Gladys L. Gerber, 99, of Fairbury passed away at 1:04 am, August 8, 2009 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
Funeral will be held at 11:00am on Monday August 10, 2009 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with visitation one hour prior.
Private burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.
Gladys was born October 21, 1909 in Fairbury the daughter of Joseph and Irene Yoder Gerber. They preceded her in death.
Surviving are her nieces and nephews, Jean Ann (Gary) Bowen of Elgin, Janet (Tom) Mann of Fairbury, J.W. Bud (Jackie) Gerber of Fairbury, Paul (Sharon) Gerber of Petaluma, CA; nine grand nieces and nephews and four great-grand nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother John W. Gerber Sr. and one sister Velda M. Redlich.
Gladys was a lifetime member of the First Baptist Church of Fairbury.
Gladys will be remembered by her love for her family and for children.
