Obituary
Fairbury – Gladys "Marge" Kaisner, 89, of Fairbury, passed away at 7:15 a.m., Friday, May 8, 2015 at her daughter's residence in Fairbury.
Funeral will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 11, 2015 at the Fairbury Apostolic Christian Church. Ministers of the Church will be officiating.
Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Fairbury.
Visitation will be held from 2-6:00 p.m., Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9-9:45 a.m., on Monday at the Church.
Memorials may be made to Fairview Haven Retirement Community or the donor's choice of charity.
Mrs. Kaisner was born March 12, 1926 in Forrest the daughter of Louis and Louise Mueller Zimmerman.
She married Merle Kaisner on February 22, 1948 in Forrest. He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Wanda (Alfred) Kupferschmid of Forrest, Robert (Cheryl) Kaisner, Jerry (Donna) Kaisner, Don (Leona) Kaisner, Gwen Knapp, and Le Ann Kaeb all of Fairbury; 35 grandchildren; 74 great-grandchildren; brothers, Glen (Mildred) Zimmerman of Forrest, Allen (Melba) Zimmerman of Fairbury, Bob (Judy) Zimmerman of Normal, and sister, Betty Hodel of Roanoke.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant son, one daughter, Becky Kupferschmid, one granddaughter, four brothers, and three sisters.
Mrs. Kaisner was a homemaker and a member of the Fairbury Apostolic Christian Church.
