Obituary
Goldie Marie Humphry, 99 of Fairbury passed away at 4 pm, Friday, December 10, 2010 at Asta Care, Colfax, IL.
Her funeral services will be 11 am, Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with Pastor Charles McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in Cropsey Cemetery, Cropsey.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services 10 to 10:45 am also at the memorial home in Fairbury on Wednesday.
Goldie was born August 8, 1911 in Unicoi, TN; the daughter of David and Betty (Leonard) Garland. She married William M. Humphry on December 31, 1934 in Fairbury. He passed away on December 26, 1996.
Survivors include her nieces and nephews; Betty Hall, Stoneville, NC, Robert (Mary) Garland, Pontiac, Jerry (Kathy) Garland, Pinckney, MI, Barbara Garland, Sandusky, OH, Gary (Ann) Garland, Troy, MI, Rita Roper, Mesa, AZ and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Frank and John Garland.
The family suggests that memorials be directed Livingston County Humane Society, Pontiac.
