Obituary
Hannah Trachsel, 98, Fairbury died 11:00 am Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Thursday, July 19, 2007 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury with the ministers of the Christian Apostolic Church, Fairbury officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Visitation will be 1:00 to 1:45 pm Thursday at the memorial home.
Mrs. Trachsel was born June 24, 1909 at Morris, MN, the daughter of Emil and Anna Kellerhals Scharer. She married Alfred Trachsel March 4, 1956 at Silverton, OR. He died August 16, 1977.
Surviving are three stepsons, three stepdaughters, one sister, Ida Hari, two brothers, Ben Scharer, Albert Scharer, all of Salem, OR, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by three brothers, four stepsons, and one stepdaughter.
Mrs. Trachsel was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church, Fairbury.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be given to Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury.
