Harold Wayne Haab, 95, Pontiac and formerly of Forrest, died at 11:50 pm Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Evenglow Lodge, Pontiac.

His funeral will be held at 10:30am Monday, November 25, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church, Fairbury with Pastor Ann Champion officiating.  Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.

Visitation will be 2:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury and 9:30 to 10:15 am Monday at the church.  The family suggests memorials be given to the First United Methodist Church or South East Livingston County Ambulance Service, both in Fairbury.

Mr. Haab was born on June 21, 1924 in Forrest the son of Edward and Laura Metz Haab.  He married Mary Lu McFarland on June 12, 1949 in Forrest.  She survives in Pontiac.

Other survivors include two sons, Dr. Roger Lee (Kathleen) Haab, Eagle, WI, David Ray (Cathie) Haab, Hudson, four granddaughters, nine great grandchildren, one brother, Robert "Bob" L. Haab, Forrest, one sister, Elenore Ricketts, Fairbury.

He is preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.

Mr. Haab was a lifetime carpenter and farmer and a member of the First United Methodist Church, Fairbury.
