Harume “Hodie” Creek, 67, Fairbury, died at 7:37 am Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at her residence, Fairbury.

Her memorial visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 pm Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Inurnment will be at a later date. The family suggests memorials be directed to SELCAS or the Prairie Central Sports Boosters.

Hodie was born March 12, 1958, in Shelbyville, IL the daughter of Herbert Euel and Tsuruko Tamayose Zientara.

Survivors include one son, Josh (Tricia) Creek, Fairbury, one daughter, Heather (Daniel) Masters, Chatsworth, three grandchildren, Kyah and Tatum Creek, Morgan Masters, one sister, Chiame (Daniel) Chance, Centreville, AL, four brothers, William Zientara, Oklahoma City, OK, James Zientara, Sullivan, IL, Herbert Zientara, Gifford, IL, and Richard Quimby, Tolono, IL.

She was previously married to Kermith “Ed” Creek. Hodie shared over 20 devoted years with her companion, Scott Clark. Their enduring partnership was a meaningful and cherished part of her life.

She is preceded by her parents, stepmother Norma (Peters) Zientara, one brother Jason Zientara, and two sisters Kathy Busboom and Myra Cooper.

Hodie worked at the Dwight Correctional Center 25 years, retiring as a supply supervisor.

Hodie enjoyed working outside, tending to her flowers, and taking pride in caring for her yard. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She cherished watching them play the sports they loved, and it brought her so much joy to see them shine at what they did best.
