Obituary
Hazel E. Cook, 94, of Cropsey died at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Colfax.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at the United Methodist Church of Cropsey with the Rev. Paulette Cott officiating. Inurnment will be in Cropsey Cemetery. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.
Ms. Cook was born August 31, 1913 in Cropsey, IL the daughter of Isaac Luten and Alice M. Schade Cook.
Surviving is a son-in-law, Dale Schroeder, Grant Park, IL, a granddaughter, Barbara Schneider, Beecher, IL and a grandson, Donn Schroeder, Glen Flora, WI. Also surviving are 8 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Schroeder and one brother.
Ms. Cook was a lifelong resident of the Cropsey area and a graduate of Cropsey High School. She also was a member of the United Methodist Church of Cropsey.
The family has requested that memorials be given to the American Cancer Society or to the United Methodist Church of Cropsey.
