Hazel Hardy Hutson's Obituary
Groton - Hazel (Hardy) Hutson, 97, died on March 3, 2013, at Fairview, Oddfellows Nursing Home in Groton, where she had been a resident for the past five years.
Arrangements are being made by Duffy Pils Memorial Home, Colfax, Illinois. There will be a graveside memorial service at 10 am on Friday, July 5 at Wiley Cemetery in Colfax This will be followed by a reception and celebration of life at The Parke Hotel, 1413 Leslie Drive, Bloomington, Illinois from 4-8 pm the same day. All friends and family are welcome.
She was born Feb. 4, 1916, the daughter of John and Lucy (Payne) Hardy and the seventh of eight siblings. She grew up in Anchor, Ill., and lived most of her life in Colfax, Ill.
She married David LaMar Hutson on Jan. 9, 1939.
She was predeceased by her husband, an infant son, her parents, and all of her siblings.
She is survived by a daughter, Nancy J. Hutson and her husband, Ian H. Williams, of Stonington, and DeLand, Fla.
