Obituary
Hazel L. Tamres, 84, Fairbury and formerly of Scottsdale, AZ died at 1:55 pm Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Evenglow Health Center, Pontiac.
Mrs. Tamres was born September 16, 1924 in Duluth, MN the daughter of Eilert and Jennie Jakobsen Olson. She married Izzy Tamres on June 28, 1963 in San Francisco, CA. He precedes her in death.
Surviving are two brothers, Warren (Peg) Olson, Fairbury, Ronald (Phyllis) Olson, Laurel, Maryland and one sister, Helen Gerber, Fairbury.
Mrs. Tamres was a retired registered nurse having been employed by John Langstaff Sr., MD and James Langstaff Jr., MD both in Fairbury. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury.
Mrs. Tamres donated her body to medical science and the family will schedule a memorial service at a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association; Evenglow Health Center, Pontiac; or the Trinity Lutheran Church, Fairbury.
