Obituary

Chenoa- Hazel K. Todd, 91, of Chenoa, passed away at 3:42pm, February 19, 2014 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.

Funeral will be at 10:00am, Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Chenoa United Methodist Church.
Pastor Carrie Carnes will be officiating.

Burial will be in Chenoa Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-7:00pm, Friday, February 21, 2014 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.

Memorials may be made to Chenoa United Methodist Church or Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community.

Hazel was born October 19, 1922 in Metamora the daughter of Lester B. and Alvina Luckert Kent.

She married Floyd D. Todd on June 29, 1947 in Gridley. He passed away on November 26, 2004.

Surviving are her children, Jeff (Nancy) Todd of Chenoa and Jill (Chuck) Campbell of Normal; granddaughters, Erin (Brian) Redd, Erica (Justin) Turner, Ashley (Dan) Butler, Kelly Todd, and Haleigh (Dustin Cox) Todd; seven great-grandchildren; adopted daughter and granddaughter, Kathy Trachsel and Heidi (Bob) Gregory of Pontiac; sisters, Betty McCanless of Eureka and Maxine Hoxworth of Centralia; brother-in-law, Richard (Mary) Todd of Chenoa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Hazel worked as a secretary for Chenoa Grade School for 25 years.

She was a member of Chenoa United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, and Chenoa Women's Club.

She is a former member of Order of Eastern Star and American Legion Auxiliary.
