Obituary
Heather Brooke Hughes, 27, of 507 S. 6th St. Fairbury, died November 9, 2006 at 2:56AM at Central Dupage Hospital, Winfield.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2006 from 5-8:00PM at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Funeral will be on Monday, November 13, 2006 at 2:00PM also at the funeral home. Rev. Charles McDonald will be officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury. Memorials may be made to the family.
Heather was born December 21, 1978 in Fairbury the daughter of John and June Allen Hughes.
Surviving are her grandmother Helen Allen of Meadows; her mother June Hughes of Fairbury; her father John Hughes of Stanton, MI; half brothers and sisters, Randy Hughes of Streator, Matthew "Homie" Hughes of Fairbury, Susie Pethers, Angel Hughes, and Rachel Hughes all of MI; step-brother, Adam Godbee of Cullom and step-sister, Gloria Godbee of London, England; three nephews, Jaden, Isaac & Josiah Pethers; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is preceded in death by one grandmother and two grandfathers.
Heather enjoyed music and her cats Sheynana and Buggies.
She was a loving and special granddaughter, daughter, sister and friend who will be sadly missed by all.
