Helen E. Thacker, 82, of Weston passed away at 11:35 am, Monday, March 25, 2013 at her residence in Weston.
A time of celebrating Helen's life and sharing with family will be from 4 to 6pm, Friday, March 29, 2013 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa. Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family inurnment will take place in Chenoa Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to ASPCA American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
Helen was born February 4, 1931 in Toledo, OH; the daughter of Harry and Ethel (Fugar) Miller. She Married Glenn Thacker and later shared the last 42 years with her long-time companion Harold King of Weston. He Survives in Weston.
Other survivors include three sons, Rick (Joyce) Thacker of Bloomington; Larry (Patty) Thacker of Pontiac; James (Emma Kay) Thacker of Fairbury; one sister, Virginia Comer of Ft. Worth, TX; three brothers, Harry (Hazel) Miller of Bourbonnais; Louis Miller of Pontiac; Richard Miller of Pontiac; seven grandchildren, Steven (Melanie) Thacker, Aimee Thacker, Debbie (Chris) Bartosik, Nick (Nicole) Thacker, Mollie (Jacob) Brockett, Katie Thacker, Samantha Thacker and eleven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sons, Robert "Bob" Thacker and Gary Thacker.
