Obituary
Hilton Foster "Dutch" Dunham, 94, of Chenoa passed away at 9:30 pm, Saturday, September 5, 2009 at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa.
His funeral service will be 10:30 am, Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Chenoa Baptist Church, Chenoa with Pastor Christian Ricker officiating. Burial will take place in Payne Cemetery, rural Chenoa. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.
Dutch was born November 5, 1914 in Eppards Point Twp. the son of Earl Forbes and Mildred (Foster) Dunham. He married Maxine Umphenour on August 5, 1939 in Chenoa. She passed away October 30, 1997.
Survivors include, two daughters; Barbara (Paul) Graves, Pontiac, Beth (Erich) Murphy, Chenoa, nine grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother; Duane "Pete" Dunham, one daughter; Beverly Ferguson and one granddaughter; Krista Ferguson.
Dutch was a 1932 graduate of Chenoa H.S. and farmed in the Chenoa area for many years. He was a past president of Chenoa Rotary and a member of the Chenoa Baptist Church in which he served in many different capacities through the years.
The family suggests that memorials be directed to Chenoa Baptist Church or the charity of donor's choice.
