Howard K. "Bud" Miller, 84, of Chenoa, died at 6:50 pm, Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Meadows Mennonite Retirement Community, Chenoa.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a memorial services will be held at a later date. Duffy-Pils Memorial Home; Chenoa will be assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers memorials contributions may be directed to Chenoa Baptist Church, Chenoa.
Bud was born June 19, 1930 in Farmersville, IL; a son to Harley Austin and Estella Grace (Boston) Miller. He first married Lois Eileen Landrus on February 2, 1961. She passed away on September 19, 1997. He later married Betty Greek on July 18, 1999. She survives in Chenoa.
Other survivors include three daughters, Charlotte LaRose of Galesburg; Lori (Timothy) Biddle of Hudson; Colleen (Timothy) Perkins of Hohenwald, TN; six step-children, Randall (Gloria) Ruppe of Marseilles; Sandi (Robert) Ludwig of St. Louis, MO; Ronald (Becky) Ruppe of Saunemin; Pam (Mike) Crouch of Emmington; Sheila (Doug) Cool of Flanagan; Carol (Jeff) Sneed of Herod, IL; eight grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one daughter, Blenda Drownes.
Bud served our country in the U.S. Army and was a member of Chenoa Baptist Church. His sense of humor and quick wit will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
