Danville – Howard W. Webb, 71 of Danville formerly of Pontiac, passed away at 1:30am, Thursday, November 7, 2024 at LaBelle Nursing Home, Danville.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Monday, November 11th, 2024 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa with Pastor Brian King officiating. Burial will follow with military funeral honors in Chenoa Township Cemetery, Chenoa.
Visitation will be from 11am to 1:00pm prior to the funeral service also at the funeral home in Chenoa. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer that people donate money to a cancer related charity in honor of Howard W. Webb.
Howard was born on June 19, 1953, in Pontiac; the son of Wayne W. and Edith (Miller)Webb. His parents, one brother and four sisters preceded him in death.
Survivors include, five children, Wayne (Debbie) Webb of Chicago, IL; Howard (Jennifer Talga) Webb II of Joliet, IL; Lisa (Don) Davis of Germany; Krista Angus of Danville, IL; Jakob Webb of Danville; three sisters, Willa (Jerry) Derby of Protem, MO; Janice (Oscar) Rodriguez of Danville, IL; Penny Webb of Clovis, CA; nine adored grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Mr. Webb served our country in the US Army during Vietnam, stationed in Germany. He was a proud member of the UAW #579, the American Legion Post #210 both of Danville. Well known in the Danville area for his Pool playing skills. He enjoyed watching old John Wayne and Elvis movies as well as the Game Show Network. He adored his grandchildren and loved watching them play sports. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
