Fairbury – Ina L. Westerfield, 88, of Fairbury, passed away at 10:45am, Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Advocate BroMenn Regional medical Center, Normal.

Cremation has been accorded.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, August 4, 2018, at First Baptist Church of Fairbury. Pastor Daryl Evans will be officiating.

Friends may greet the family from 10-10:45am, Saturday, August 4, 2018 also at the church.

Burial will take place privately at Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital.

Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is in charge of arrangements.

Ina was born March 13, 1930, in Cooksville, the daughter of Harley and Hansiene (Peek) Meeks.

She married Willy Jr. Westerfield. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are sisters, Rose Woodward of Fairbury, Anna Riggs of Quincy, Nellie Johansen of Champaign, and Bev Arahood of Franklin, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, her twin sister, Inez Lawrence and three brothers.

Ina graduated from Colfax High School in 1949. She then lived many years in Kentucky where she worked in administration at the local hospital.
