Fairbury: Isabelle Della Reavis, 88, of Fairbury died at 12:58 am, Monday, July 7, 2008 at St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, IL.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 pm, Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Her funeral service will be 10:00 am, Thursday, July 10, 2008 also at the memorial home in Fairbury. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Fairbury.

Isabelle was born March 3, 1920 in Fairbury, IL a daughter to Clark and Mae (Bennett) Harris. She married Leon "Bud" Reavis on May 27, 1942 in Alexandria, LA. He passed away September 18, 1994.

Survivors include one son; Michael (Rochelle) Reavis, Custer Park, IL, three daughters; Diane (Duane) Schieler, Fairbury, Kathleen (Bob) Troy, Urbana, Barbara Ann (Steve) Smith, Wasilla, AK, eight grandchildren; Cheyenne Reavis, Chad (Jennifer) Schieler, Corey (Pam) Schieler, Kelly (Dave) Johnson, Laurie Sheppard, Paul DeBolt, Todd (Sabrina) Smith, Kristy (Josh) Smith and eleven great grandchildren; Andrew, Hannah, Ethan, Elyse, Aimry, Avlinn, Adsea, Ashley, Emily, McKenna and Aria.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Wade and Albert Harris.

Mrs. Reavis was a 1938 graduate of Fairbury Twp. H.S. and lifelong resident of Fairbury. She worked as a seamstress for Fairbury Garment Co. for many years retiring in 1982. During retirement she continued sewing in her home until her second retirement at age 80. She was "Sew" blessed.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be directed to Fairview Haven Nursing Home, Fairbury, IL.
