James Mark Gillespie, 61, Fairbury, died at 1:52 am Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at his residence, Fairbury.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family service will be held at a later date.  Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury is assisting with arrangements.

Mark was born April 17, 1962 the son of James R. and Lilly Hope Siegmund Gillespie.  He married Lisa Crouch on April 21, 2004 in Paxton, IL. She survives in Fairbury.

Other survivors include two sisters, Marilyn Gillespie, and Ruth (David) Beck, both of Lexington and one brother, Robert (Patty Jo) Gillespie, Salem, West Virginia.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
