Bloomington: James R. Honegger, 64, Bloomington and formerly of Forrest, died at 8:04pm Thursday, October 5, 2006 at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Funeral Services will be 12:30pm Monday, October 9, 2006 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury. Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington with full military rites. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00pm Sunday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Mr. Honegger was born February 22, 1942 at Fairbury, IL. The son of Frank and Hulda Kilgus Honegger. He is survived by his wife Linda.
Also surviving are 2 sisters: Velma Koehl, Forrest, IL and Joan (Tom) Glendenning, Bloomington.
Mr. Honegger was a 1960 graduate of Forrest-Strawn-Wing High School and later obtained a Bachelor and Master's Degree in Business Administration from Western Illinois University at Macomb.
He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.
Jim enjoyed golfing and had been a longtime member at the Indian Creek Golf & Country Club, Fairbury.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to the Community Cancer Center, Bloomington or to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
