Chenoa – James W. "Limo" Liming, 75, of Chenoa, passed away at 1:50pm, June 16, 2014 at Advocate BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Funeral will be held at 10:00am, Friday, June 20, 2014 at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Chenoa.
Burial will be in Chenoa Township Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5-7:00pm, Thursday, June 19, 2014 also at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Limo was born April 15, 1939, in Chenoa, the son of William and Lusetta Hollis Liming.
He married Phyllis Kuder on August 2, 1975 in Chenoa. She survives.
Also surviving are his daughter, Shelbie (Mike) Bigger of El Paso; sons, James Liming and Michael (Rene) Liming both of Texas; grandchildren, Jessica and Michelle Bigger, Bradley and Brandon Sloan, Julie and Michael Liming, Tammy Rodriguez, Joe Grabon, Maggie, Chester, and Phillip McKinley; 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter; brother, Larry (Mary Ann) Liming and Gerald Liming both of Pontiac; sisters, Pat Sinnett of Strawn, Joan Hodge of Chenoa, and Connie Holzhauer of Pontiac.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Julie Liming; step-daughter, Rebecca McKinley; brother, Robert Liming; and sister, Mary Carter.
Limo retired from Union Roofing after 30 years. He was a member of the Local 69 Roofing Union.
He enjoyed riding horses in the Chenoa Parade.
