Obituary
Forrest – Jim Stark, 61 of Forrest passed away at 7:00 am Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Graveside service will be held at 4:00pm on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at Forrest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4:00pm also on Saturday at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home, Fairbury.
Jim was born April 19, 1947 in Waukegan the son of James Martin and Dagmar Mae Wulff Stark.
Surviving are his mother Dagmar Stark of Forrest; his children, Beverly (Ronnie) Burke of Effingham, Virginia (Gene) Steurnagel of Altamont, Mary (Brett) Boring of Forrest, Jamie (Donnie) Franke of Bethalto and Julie (Joe) Marthey of Fairbury and 18 grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his father and one grandchild.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War.
Jim collected swords, cars and model boats. He love and cherished his children and grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew him.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Jude's Midwest Affiliate.
